Purpose:The dA stamps collection is going to gather all (as many as possible) stamps that have been made by the different sub-groups, teams in dA. This should make it easier for people to add the stamps to their journals since they wouldn't have to go looking for them.

Hotlinking: I contacted the help desk and was told that you are NOT allowed to hotlink the original URL meaning that you cannot put <img src="http://ic1.deviantart.com/fs7/i/2005/218/5/b/Tribute_to_Jark_by_ScHAmPi.jpg... you can only do that for your own host. So if you wanna add the stamps to your journal easily I suggest using the :thumb######: command. It will link to the stamp here on ~deviantStamps where the 'Link to: ...' is displayed.
You can also download the images and host them on your own webspace or on a free image host that allows hotlinking like [link]

Non-Subscribers: I'm sorry to have to tell you that only subscribers can add stamps to their journals by typing :thumb########: where ####### is the number of the deviation... The only thing you can do is them or put links to them in your journal.

Faving: If you wan't to the stamps it's ok but if there's a link to the original deviation of the artist in the "artist's comments" please it in the artist's gallery (or if you want in both...).

Submitting: If you have made a group and/or have made a stamp feel free to contact me here, at ~ScHAmPi, or by any other means and then I'll add it to the gallery.

Template: I extracted the stamp template from the first dA stamps made by $liquisoft. He kindly allowed me to put it in the collection for our disposal.

NOTICE I wanted to inform you all of something: Although the .png files have a smaller filesize and in normal occasions evenly good as .gif I found out today that it's better to add them in .gif format. Why? Because when you post them both as thumbs in dAmn-chat (deviantArtmessagenetwork-chat) the .png file is for some reason resized in a bad way, the .gif file isn't. So if you submit your stamps, it's maybe better to submit them as .gif. I won't complain if they aren't, I'll still add them. I'm not going to change them all to .gif either. So if you want them to look nice as thumb in the chat you submit them as .gif. (Hope you can make sence of all I've written here...)

As you can see, some stamps have been added already, more to come.

©Let it be absolutely clear that I asked permission from the creators of the stamps to add the stamps to the gallery. You are allowed to post them in your journal as a token of your support/membership/publicity... whatever but if you wan't to edit anything on the stamps you have to ask permission to the creators of the stamps to do so. All rights of course remain to the creators.

If at a time there's a stamp submitted by someone who claimed to be the creator but wasn't, contact me and I'll (if this is your wish) take it out of the gallery.
